Meat your meet or how I am becoming a vegetarian
I came accross this website http://www.meetyourmeat.com a month ago and since then cannot eat even look at any meet.... Did anyone have the same expeirience?
My diet has obviously changed and I cannot sustain my training sessions any more (i am a runner): I am getting tied faster, no energy. Maybe I should try soy products.... I do not know anyone who would be a vegetarian. But I wonder what is that that is missing from my diet.... I started eating nuts and beans, but no effect. I have to develop my vegetarian product list :-)

There is a new site under development called the Vegan Athlete. There are some useful links there already. Here is the address: http://www.veganathlete.com/
In the meantime, you may find this website helpful: http://www.vegparadise.com/otherbirds510.html
To inspire you, check out this list of great vegan athletes:

I have been a vegetarian since age 12, and a vegan for the last 5 years, so the transition was very easy for me. I walk & swim, but am by no means an athlete!
Stay with it; it will be worth it.
